I have put together a list of the books I keep on the boat that are my favourites. I have also included other books and websites that I think are useful or interesting. <\/span>I am also always keen to find new books for my Library. As you may know I&#8217;m an old fashioned girl when it comes to sailing and my choice of books reflects that. But there are some modern books in the mix. There is information on all aspects of cruising and voyaging from choosing a boat, making baggy-wrinkles, to celestial navigation. If I had to choose one book to have, it would be Cruising under Sail. You do not have to be wealthy and you do not need all the most modern gadgets. Also has Wylo plans for those who are interested.<\/p>\n<p>And on a more personal note&#8230; \u00a0 <span class=\"a-size-large\"><a class=\"a-link-normal\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/gp\/product\/1496097548\/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&amp;psc=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Ocean Voyager and Me<\/a> by Di Beach<br \/>\nWritten by my mother about her adventures with my father, sailing the oceans with two small children, one of which was me.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Voyage Planning Books<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I love reading planning books. Wondering where we might sail to next? or just armchair sailing in the winter months. I added some things from my reading and Roberson&#8217;s Sea Survival Manual.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"a-size-small\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.portlandpudgy.com\/price-list\/ordering-portland-pudgy-safety-dinghy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Potland Pudgy<\/a> &#8211; Dynamic Life-raft<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"a-size-small\">Steven Callahan put a lot of effort into proposing the benefits of a dynamic life-raft, and the Portland Pudgy is exactly that.<\/span><br \/>\n<span class=\"a-size-small\">Sadly they are not very pretty.
